The content-related and architectural concept is tailored to children up to the age of 10 (fourth grade), with the focus being on third and fourth graders.

The vacation courses are only available to third or fourth grade children of Henkel employees. Places are allocated by a draw.

Easter: always in the second week of the vacation.
Summer vacation: always in the first and last week of the vacation
Fall break: always in the first week of the break

The research weeks deal with topics that are closely linked to Henkel's areas of research: adhesives, laundry, cosmetics and sustainability.

In the vacation courses, the children are supervised by Dr. Katrin Sommer, Professor of Chemistry Didactics at Ruhr University Bochum, and a team of six trainee chemistry teachers.

The elementary school classes are led by the classes' own teachers and by Henkel staff.

Training courses covering current teaching units are regularly held in January and September. You can use the contact form to register. Training courses for larger groups can also be arranged on request.
